Considers the law's impact on the development and application of these technologies, and the legal response to beneficial and mischievous impacts. Topics include law-sensitive aspects of privacy and bias, fintech, fair competition and fair dealing in digital markets, political discourse on social media, digital technologies in the workplace, and intellectual property rights in software and other innovations. Gives special attention to the legal concerns of those planning careers built on cutting-edge skills, and of managers and entrepreneurs bringing innovations from ideas to impact.
